《二十八号》取材于2017年北京一家公立医院就诊时的录音：当时，我在一次服用紧急避孕药后，因生理疼痛和心理不安再次进行妊娠检查而重返医院。在医院，妊娠所指向的生命命题被简化为试纸上的一道或两道线条、一份血液或尿液样本，以及漫长的等待与临床流程。在医生眼中，我“内心”所谓的秘密不过是一场极其寻常的就诊。

我以我的身体等比例制作了一尊内部空间可以放置小型屏幕的陶瓷胸像。这具新的身体呈现出一种介于身体与解剖学标本（specimen）之间的状态。观众被视频吸引，靠近这尊身体时，他们与作品之间的距离，也逐渐成为医疗检查的距离。这时候观看的姿态开始像医生，看向通向身体内部的作为“窗口”的影像的同时，观众也成为了检查这具身体的人。

《二十八号》构成了后来《红双喜》的前奏。

N° 28 draws upon an audio recording made during a medical consultation in a public hospital in Beijing in 2017. Following the use of emergency contraception, I returned to the hospital for another pregnancy test, driven by both physical pain and psychological anxiety. Within the hospital, the existential questions inherent in pregnancy were reduced to one or two lines on a test strip, a blood or urine sample, and the prolonged waiting imposed by clinical procedures. In the doctor's eyes, the so-called secret "within me" amounted to nothing more than an utterly ordinary medical consultation.

Using my own body as a one-to-one scale, I created a ceramic bust whose interior accommodates a small monitor. This new body exists somewhere between a human body and an anatomical specimen. Drawn toward the moving image, viewers gradually approach the sculpture until the distance between themselves and the work becomes that of a medical examination. At this point, their mode of looking begins to resemble that of a doctor. As they peer through the moving image, which functions as a window into the interior of the body, they themselves become the ones examining it.
