2021年，在我交换学习期间，我在柏林艺术大学（UdK）的校园里，亲眼目睹了同学的自杀。我将自己在巴黎国立高等美术学院的硕士毕业展（DNSAP）布置成了那场我未曾出席的葬礼。展厅四周悬挂了半透明的黑色薄纱，它们滤掉了外面的自然光，把整个展览空间无限地向深处的暗影延伸。毕业展就像是一次深潜，直面心理重创的深渊。同名影像作品将沉浸式的声景与逝者生命中最后的时光重构在一起，试图展现逝者生前所遭遇的种种或显形或隐形的系统暴力。
影片画面穿行在柏林的日常街景中，宛若逝者进行生前最后的告别。逝者作为跨性别者特有的音线设计基于我对她声音的记忆。结合5.1立体环绕声，充满追忆感的独白把柏林特有的景观搬运到了展览现场。
In 2021, on the campus of the University of the Arts Berlin (UdK), I witnessed the suicide of a classmate. Drawing from this experience, I presented my diploma (DNSAP) at the Beaux-Arts de Paris as the funeral for this friend that I never attended — an exhibition that plunges into the abysses of the human psyche in the face of grief.
Framing the projection screen, a minimalist arrangement of translucent black drapes dims the exterior light, extending the spatial installation into deep shadow. Drawn from my memories, the androgynous voice-over merges with ambient city noise and is spatialized through a 5.1 sound system, transposing Berlin’s sonic texture directly into the physical space of the exhibition.
Traversing everyday Berlin, the film unfolds as a post-mortem journey through sites intimate to the protagonist, coupling an immersive soundscape with a reconstruction of the deceased’s final moments. The film exposes the systemic violence endured by my trans, binational, and mixed-race friend.
